Delete Your Account

You can delete your Scroll The Book of Mormon account and its data at any time. You don't need to have the app installed.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open Scroll The Book of Mormon on your phone, or at scrollthebookofmormon.com/app.
2. Sign in, then go to the Library tab and tap Settings.
3. Under Account, tap Delete my account, then confirm.

Your account is deleted right away.

By email (no app needed)

Email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account”. Send it from the email address you signed up with, and include your username. We'll delete the account within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What gets deleted

• Your sign-in (email and password) and your profile: username, display name, and profile picture.
• Your friends, friend requests, and anyone you blocked or who blocked you.
• Your testimonies and reading-plan posts, and your comments on verses and on testimonies.
• Verses you sent to friends and verses friends sent to you.
• Your Getting Started checklist progress, reports you filed, and your Contact us messages.

What isn't stored with us

• Reading progress, bookmarks, notes, and settings stay on your device. Uninstalling the app (or clearing this site's data in your browser) removes them.
• Donations are handled by Stripe. Stripe keeps its own payment records as the law requires; we can't delete those.
• For security, sign-ins with a username are logged briefly: the username and a scrambled (hashed) network address, never the address itself. These entries are cleared when you sign in successfully, or after about a day.
